Enjoy spectacular views above the Lakeland and meet the king of the forest from eye to eye. We are happy to fly you to the most famous and remote wildlife centres in Europe, including the Bear Centre with luxurious cabins for wildlife watching, and the Wildlife Safaris Finland, which is popular especially amongst professional photographers.
Both of the centers offer some of the best opportunities in the whole world to view wild brown bears, wolves wolverines and many other animals and birds safely at close quarters.
You may choose between two 24h safaris, or just the flights. If you would like us to customize a longer safari for you with one or two way flights, please contact us and we will be happy to organize it for you.
Remember that wild animals move with free will and to their own schedule. The probability to see a bear on a 24h layover is 90-99 % , depending on the month.
Flights
Round trip prices starting from 2400 € per person
If you are arriving to Helsinki-Vantaa Airport with any other flight, we will welcome you at the aircraft door and escort you to the helicopter so you don't even have to visit the airport, unless you wish to do so. We will be happy to take care of all border formalities with you privately before your flight, ensuring all your luggage will be transported to the helicopter for you. The transfer can be taken care in only 15 minutes.
If you are already in Helsinki, we will be happy to organize a limo service to pick you up for your flight from anywhere in Helsinki Metropolitan area.
The flights are operated with Airbus H125 or EC120 helicopter. When travelling with a helicopter, please prefer soft and adjustable luggage. In case you are planning to return to Helsinki after your wildlife experience, you may also leave some of your extra belongings in our complimentary and safe storage.

As safety is our highest priority we reserve the right to delay or cancel the experience due to weather conditions. In case of a cancellation an alternative transportation will be offered (a private plane) or the full price of the tour will be refunded.
Some evenings several bears may be seen at the same time and the nearest bear may be a few meters from the Cabin. In addition to bears, the hide area is regularly visited by 1-4 different wolverines, foxes and 1-2 times per week by the local wolf pack. The cabin is situated on a hill, offering an unbelievable view. The Night Vision Nature’s Window outdoor sound monitor amplifies sounds from a distance while the user is inside the Cabin. The device is placed outside the cabin picking up bird and other wildlife sounds, which can be heard either through a speaker or headphones.

Kuikka – the base camp
Kuikka is a former forest workers' residence situated in the municipality of Kuhmo, on the border with Russia. The base camp sits on a headland, surrounded by the Kuikka lake and boreal forest. The building is a traditional rural Finnish log house. The general atmosphere in Kuikka can be compared to that of a large family rather than to that of a hotel.

Helsinki Citycopter is the only helicopter service in Finland that has been awarded the Sustainable Travel Finland label by Visit Finland. Our goal is to be the first carbon positive helicopter service in Europe by the end of 2023. Flights are operated under EASA-OPS Air Operator Certificate: FI.AOC.003. We operate from Helsinki Business Flight Center. In addition our flights can also be operated from private land or some locations in Helsinki City Center.
